Curio Medallions with Tracy Ashcroft
Join Tracy, a mixed media artist, specialising in handmade curios and stoneware pottery with a quirky, vibe.

Tracy creates and sell unique, handmade items described as "Medallion Curios." These include small, whimsical items such as jewellery, decorative objects, or vintage-inspired pieces which are displayed on small picture frames.
This workshop is an opportunity for you to make your own curios pieces. These medallions can become fridge magnets, pendants, or keyrings, its up to you.

Feel free to bring along any extras you wish to add to your creations, such as beads, feathers and chains.
Please note we use a small amount of resin. We provide protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through using a fretsaw and the basics of the traditional Boulle technique as you create a set of beautifully inlaid coasters to take home. Perfect for anyone curious to try marquetry for the first time, this session is a fun, hands-on introduction — and a great way to prepare for our longer courses where you can go on to design and make your own pieces.
