Throwing Lesson

Join us for a fun and relaxed beginner’s lesson, no experience needed! Everyone is welcome, come as you are and have a go!

  • In the one-off session, you’ll keep up to 3 pots, which will be trimmed, glazed, and fired for you.

Want to add colour yourself? You’re welcome to come back and glaze your pieces. If you do, you can keep everything you make!

  • All equipment, tools, and materials are provided. You’ll be shown how to throw a simple shape on the wheel, and then it’s your turn to get creative (and a little messy!).

  • You'll be contacted when your pottery is ready to collect or glaze. This process can take up to 8 weeks, so thank you for your patience.

You’ll have full access to everything in the studio, so if you fancy giving handbuilding a go, just let us know!

Have an idea or a project in mind? I’ll support and encourage you to explore it. This is your creative time, and the course is designed to grow with you.

  • All equipment, tools, and materials are provided. You’ll start by learning how to throw a basic shape on the wheel — then it’s your turn to get stuck in and start creating!

  • Life’s busy, so this course is designed to fit around you. Book the same day each week, mix and match, or come every other week if that suits you better. Going on holiday? No problem, just swap for a different week.
